Shop and dine out at the locals’ favorite restaurants in downtown Kings Beach one mile west, tee off at the Old Brockway Golf Course two miles west, and catch a few winter thrills by skiing or boarding on the slopes of Northstar California Resort nine miles northwest.

Step inside to find a beautifully orchestrated living space, where everything from the baseboards to the kitchen cabinets was handmade and selected to create a warm, welcoming environment. Come home from a thrilling day of sledding and skiing (ski lockers and four sleds are provided) to curl up on the sofa and choose from a large selection of board games, warm your toes by one of the three gas fireplaces, and enjoy the conveniences of free WiFi, two Smart TVs, and Sonos speakers for your personal smart device.

Begin each morning with a relaxing dip in the hot tub, which is shared with the other cabin on the property, the one-bedroom Little Dipper. Whip up homemade waffles and espresso in the fully equipped and open kitchen with all modern conveniences, grab the two kayaks and your bathing suit from the washer/dryer, and spend summer days outside on the lake. Back at the house, you can light the gas grill for dinner, enjoy the golden hour with filtered lake views on the deck, and tell stories around the firepit late into the night.
