S.O.A.P. first opened itʼs doors in 2010 with a vision to help green consumers curb their plastic waste by offering them a choice. By having the option to refill, people all over Nevada County began saving their glass jars and shampoo bottles and began filling up with safer alternatives. To this day, we have helped our community refill over 19,000 bottles and counting! With so many “green” goods still being shipped, labeled, and packaged in single-use plastic containers, it is our job to help take some of that plastic out of the recycling stream. As it is good to recycle, it is better to REUSE! Therefore Reducing the impact, and reducing our consumption. We hope that you too will find a cool used bottle, and bring it into so we can help you become part of the refill revolution.

Union logo with website 2013[/caption]Celebrating their 150th Anniversary in 2014, The Union is one of the oldest daily newspapers in California. Founded in 1864, as the Civil War raged and people in Nevada County were divided. The Union made its stand clear: “For The Union, One and Inseparable.” Those words have appeared on its front page every day since then. Today, in addition to providing the newspaper six days a week, they are online (www.theunion.com), sponsor many non-profit organizations, produce events, and provide high-quality commercial printing at discounted rates to our community.
Thank you The Union! We appreciate your support.
